makes 1 6” heart shaped peppermint bark
ingredients
4 oz (113g) dark chocolate wafers
4 oz (113) white chocolate wafers
1/2 tsp peppermint extract, adjust to taste
crushed peppermint candy
optional - edible pearl sprinkles, flaky sea salt

2 medium mixing bowls
small pot
silicone spatula
offset spatula
silicone heart mold

steps
dark chocolate layer: using a double boiler (see picture below), slowly melt 4oz (113g) dark chocolate wafers
immediately pour melted dark chocolate into heart silicone mold. using a silicone spatula & offset spatula, create an even layer. tap tray on surface to remove any bubbles
place tray into freezer and freeze for about 20 minutes
white chocolate layer: after about 20 minutes, using a double boiler, slowly melt 4oz (113g) white chocolate wafers
immediately pour melted white chocolate into heart silicone mold directly on top of dark chocolate layer. using a silicone spatula & offset spatula. tap tray on surface to remove any bubbles. immediately sprinkle your toppings
place tray into freezer and freeze for about 30 minutes to 1 hour
once completely set, carefully remove heart peppermint bark from silicone heart mold and break into bite sized pieces
