makes 1 6” heart shaped peppermint bark
ingredients
- 4 oz (113g) dark chocolate wafers 
- 4 oz (113) white chocolate wafers 
- 1/2 tsp peppermint extract, adjust to taste 
- crushed peppermint candy 
- optional - edible pearl sprinkles, flaky sea salt

- 2 medium mixing bowls 
- small pot 
- silicone spatula 
- offset spatula 
- silicone heart mold 
- tray 
steps
- dark chocolate layer: using a double boiler (see picture below), slowly melt 4oz (113g) dark chocolate wafers 
- immediately pour melted dark chocolate into heart silicone mold. using a silicone spatula & offset spatula, create an even layer. tap tray on surface to remove any bubbles 
- place tray into freezer and freeze for about 20 minutes 
- white chocolate layer: after about 20 minutes, using a double boiler, slowly melt 4oz (113g) white chocolate wafers 
- immediately pour melted white chocolate into heart silicone mold directly on top of dark chocolate layer. using a silicone spatula & offset spatula. tap tray on surface to remove any bubbles. immediately sprinkle your toppings 
- place tray into freezer and freeze for about 30 minutes to 1 hour 
- once completely set, carefully remove heart peppermint bark from silicone heart mold and break into bite sized pieces 
- enjoy!
