pink french style hot chocolate made with pink ruby chocolate & homemade whipped cream 💘 serves 2

ingredients

• 2 cups whole milk

• about 2/3 cup to 1 cup ruby chocolate

• a couple tsps of powdered sugar

• whipped cream

  • heavy cream

  • powdered sugar

• medium pot

• whisk

---

steps

1. heat up about 2 cups of milk in a medium pan over medium-low heat for about 5 minutes - do not let it boil

2. remove milk from heat and add in about 2/3 cup of ruby chocolate and whisk until ruby chocolate is all melted. add in a couple tsps of powdered sugar to taste

3. place pan back over medium-low heat and whisk to slightly thicken up pink hot chocolate

4. pour into 2 mugs and top with fresh whipped cream and valentine’s day sprinkles (optional)

5. enjoy!

notes

• if you do not enjoy white chocolate, do not make this recipe! the ruby chocolate tastes very similar to white chocolate, and as someone who doesn’t like white chocolate, i did not like this drink. although it is a very pretty and festive drink!
