ingredients

  • overnight oats

    • 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats

    • 1/2 cup whole milk

    • 2 tsps lavender syrup and/or lavender buds (about 5 buds)

    • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

    • 1/4 cup fresh blueberries

  • toppings

    • whole milk greek yogurt

    • fresh blueberries

    • lavender buds

  • spoon

steps

  1. add oats, blueberries, whole milk, lavender syrup and/or lavender buds, & vanilla extract in a jar. mix well with a spoon.

  2. place lid on jar and chill in the fridge for a couple hours or overnight

  3. once ready to serve, open jar and give the oats a good stir

  4. top oats with a layer of greek yogurt. add some fresh blueberries and a couple lavender buds to garnish

  5. enjoy!

notes

  • a little bit of lavender goes a long way! if you plan to add lavender buds in the overnights oats, don’t use too much. the lavender buds will marinate in the overnight oats and become much more fragrant! i used about 5 individual lavender buds along with the 2 tsps of lavender syrup
